Roger used to tell the Tupper stories to his children when they were growing up and then to his grandchildren. In 2018 they lost a grandchild called Raffy, at 25 days old. Raffy was cared for at the neonatal intensive care unit in Bristol, which serves the South West. Whilst there his parents were able to spend the time at the Cots for Tots house, opposite the hospital, so that they were as near as possible to him throughout his short life.
